Meawhile, Andy emailed to let me know the children have come up with a logo and mission statement for their company, which is to be called:
A.R.S. - Augmented Reality Simulations.
(Apparently there was some discussion about the rather 'unfortunate' acronym, but children decided they were happy to use it. Some may be enjoying the subversive thrill of 'getting away with' this name. Others are convinced it would not be an issue in the 'marketplace')
In his email, Andy remarked on the careful crafting that had gone into the mission statement... particularly the carefully chosen vocabulary - an example of the way writing elevates when children are positioned as experts.
